Google Meet Admin Setting for Free Trials

Free trials of Empwr.ai use an unverified Google account to join Google Meet calls. This prevents our Meeting Analyzer from joining calls at your organization unless it is explicitly approved by the meeting organizer when it asks to join as a guest. We find that new organizations appreciate this workflow to prevent our Meeting Analyzer from automatically joining calls. Unverified meeting bots do have a downside. If the Google Meet admin "domain" setting is too restrictive, it will prevent the Meeting Analyzer bot from joining any Google Meet calls in the organization.


If you run into this issue, you should contact [email protected] to request a verified version of the Meeting Analyzer with an Enterprise plan OR change the Google Meet admin setting using the following steps:

Google Workspace Settings

  1. Login to your Google Workspace and navigate to the Admin section

  2. Navigate to Admin->Apps->Google Workspace->Google Meet->Meet safety settings

  3. Select "Domain" to edit the setting

  4. For the "Who can join meetings created by your organization" choose "All users (including users not signed in with a Google account)"

  5. Click "Save" to save the settings
