Google Single Sign-On (SSO)
Google Single Sign-On (SSO)
Updated over 2 months ago

We offer one-click single sign-on (SSO) for emails associated with a Google Workspace or Gmail account. This is convenient for end users and business IT organizations alike. End users don't need to create new passwords to manage and organizations can enforce added security like two-factor authentication (2FA).

How do I use Google Single Sign-On (SSO)

Simply head to the main authorization page at https://app.empwr.ai and click "Continue with Google." If you haven't yet logged in with your Google account, you will be taken to Google to authorize the Google SSO for the Empwwr.ai application. Once you complete the authorization you'll gain access to your Empwr.ai account. If you are already authenticated with Google on the browser, you'll be immediately authorized with your account and you'll gain access to the application.

A request was sent to my IT administrator during log-in

It is common for IT organizations to require that users request permission to sign into new applications using SSO. Often, IT administrators are not closely monitoring these requests.

If you are a new Empwr.ai user signing in with Google SSO for the first time, you may be stopped from authenticating and told that your IT administrator has been sent a request.

If this happens to you, you can take the following steps:

  1. Contact your IT administrator and let them know that you have requested access to use Google SSO to sign into Empwr.ai.

  2. You can alternatively sign up with just your email until your IT department has granted you permission to use SSO. if you use that method to sign in, our system will email you a magic link to log you in

I signed in with my Gmail account, but I want to use Empwr.ai for work

Empwr.ai accounts only support one email address at a time. Empwr.ai is designed to work in a team environment for business use cases. We strongly encourage users to use work email addresses for their accounts. If you signed up with your Gmail, we suggest you create a new primary account with your work email address.
