Connecting your Google Calendar (Ooutlook is coming soon) is the easiest way to ensure your meetings are analyzed by the Empwr.ai Assistant. When you connect your calendar, you can choose which meetings the Assistant will auto-join. We make it easy to disconnect your calendar at any time.
Connecting your calendar
You can connect your calendar in two ways:
"Calendar Connection" screen during onboarding
Since we currently only support Google calendar integrations (Outlook is coming soon), only Google SSO users will see the full-screen Calendar Connection (see below).
β
From this screen, click "Connect Google Calendar"
Next, continue through the Google authorization screens.
β
Since you already connected your Google account for SSO, you will see a screen that lets you know that you've already given Empwr.ai access to some aspects of your account via SSO.
Then you will be presented with the option to create a rule for the auto-join feature.
If you select the default "Only meetings I create," the Assistant will only try to join the meetings where you are the calendar event organizer and a valid Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams meeting link is attached to the calendar event.
If you select "All Meetings," the Assistant will try to join all meetings on your calendar that is associated with a valid Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams meeting link.
β
In either case, once the calendar connection is established, you will be able to manually control which individual meetings the Assistant tries to join in the 7-Day Calendar section of the home page.
Calendar connection in Settings
You can connect or disconnect your calendar at any time in the Settings section located in the left navigation bar.
How to disconnect the calendar in Settings
If you disconnect your calendar, the system will delete all of the scheduled meetings that were previously synched but not yet analyzed. It will not impact meetings that were already analyzed.
It is important to note that you will still see meetings in the 7-Day Calendar section if other users have invited the Assistant OR if you manually invited the Assistant by adding the email to the meeting invite.
