Calendar Integration to Auto-schedule Assistant
Calendar Integration to Auto-schedule Assistant

Connect your Google or Outlook calendar to auto-schedule the Assistant to join and analyze meetings.

Updated over a month ago

Connecting your Google or Outlook calendar is the easiest way to ensure your meetings are analyzed by the Empwr.ai Assistant. When you connect your calendar, you can choose which meetings the Assistant will auto-join. We make it easy to disconnect your calendar at any time.

Connecting your calendar

You can connect your calendar in two ways:

"Calendar Connection" screen during onboarding

We only support connecting one calendar per account and require that your connected calendar matches the email that you logged in with. We only present the available calendar integration associated with your sign-in method.

Google SSO users will see the Google option in the screenshot below. Microsoft users see the Outlook option. If you sign in with an email via magic link instead of Google or Microsoft, you will see both options. Be sure to choose the calendar that matches the email you logged in with.

Next, continue through the authorization screens prompted by Google or Microsoft to give Empwr.ai read access to your calendar.

Then you will be presented with the option to create a rule for the auto-join feature.

  1. If you select the default "Only meetings I create," the Assistant will only try to join the meetings where you are the calendar event organizer and a valid Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams meeting link is attached to the calendar event.

  2. If you select "All Meetings," the Assistant will try to join all meetings on your calendar that is associated with a valid Google Meet, Zoom, or Teams meeting link.

In either case, once the calendar connection is established, you will be able to manually control which individual meetings the Assistant tries to join in the 7-Day Calendar section of the home page.

Calendar connection in Settings

You can connect or disconnect your calendar at any time in the Settings section located in the left navigation bar.

How to disconnect the calendar in Settings

If you disconnect your calendar, the system will delete all of the scheduled meetings that were previously synched but not yet analyzed. It will not impact meetings that were already analyzed.

It is important to note that you will still see meetings in the 7-Day Calendar section if other users have invited the Assistant OR if you manually invited the Assistant by adding the email to the meeting invite.
