Setting up Empwr.ai's Slack Integration

Empwr.ai's Slack integration enables our system to automatically post meeting outcomes directly into private Slack threads with individual users in your organization. This integration will enable the Empwr.ai Slack app for everyone in your organization.

Follow these simple steps to connect Slack to Empwr.ai.

Prerequisites

  • Ensure you have admin privileges or sufficient permissions to install Slack apps in your Slack workspace.

Connecting Slack to Empwr.ai

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Log in to Empwr.ai:

    • Sign in to your Empwr.ai account.

  2. Navigate to Integrations:

    • Click on the Settings menu.

    • Select the Integrations tab.

  3. Connect Slack:

    • Find the Slack Integration option and click Connect.

    • You'll be redirected to Slack for authentication.

  4. Authorize Empwr.ai:

    • Review the permissions requested.

    • Click Allow to grant Empwr.ai access to your Slack workspace.

  5. Confirm Connection:

    • After authorization, you'll see a confirmation screen.

    • Click Return Home to finalize the setup.

You will now see Slack listed as "Connected" under Integrations.


How the Integration Works

Once connected, Empwr.ai automatically posts meeting outcomes into private Slack threads via the Empwr.ai Slack App.

Disconnecting the Slack Integration

  • Go to the Integrations tab under Settings.

  • Click Disconnect next to Slack.

  • Follow the provided prompts, or you may be directed to a help article for additional guidance.

If the integration is disconnected directly from Slack:

  • Empwr.ai will automatically update the integration status.

  • You can easily reconnect at any time by repeating the connection steps.

Troubleshooting

  • If you don't see the Slack integration status updating, try refreshing your Empwr.ai homepage.

  • For persistent issues, ensure local browser state or cache isn't affecting integration status.
